Challenge

Turning LSKD’s Pacific Fair flagship from retail store to a community hub that embodies its ethos to get “1% better every day”, across every touchpoint.

Through a comprehensive in-store audit, I uncovered a deep disconnect: the existing masculine, industrial gym vibe didn’t align with the brand’s evolution into holistic wellbeing and its rapidly growing female audience.

/ Creative Strategy
I explored the tension between opposing forces: industrial and natural, grind and growth. Instead of abandoning their functional fitness roots, my creative strategy softened it with a new warmth and inclusivity for a broader appeal.

/ Experience Design & Art Direction
With Dashing Group, I anchored the flagship design in flexibility through adaptable spaces and inviting dwell zones. I directed a material shift, softening heavy industrial fixtures with warm natural textures.

To unify the store, I developed a visual language rooted in LSKD’s brand DNA, applying a dynamic ‘kinetic crop’ across key retail touch points.

By shifting from a purely transactional floor plan to a highly flexible layout, the flagship space now seamlessly adapts to host local community events.

Dedicated dwell zones actively encourage genuine connection over quick purchases, while the kinetic crop design language ensures a constant visual energy.

The final in-store experience perfectly balances LSKD’s industrial gym roots with warmer inclusivity, proving that getting 1% better every day truly belongs to everyone.
